Hai Bo
海波

Hai Bo was born in Changchun City in 1962 and is currently based in Beijing.

He graduated from Jilin Academy of Art in 1984 and stayed to teach at his alma mater. In 1988, he entered the Printmaking Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. His photography works were exhibited at the 2001 Art Basel in Switzerland and the 49th Venice Biennale.

He has also participated in many international photography exhibitions such as "China Contemporary Photography and Video", "Material Classification" in Canada and "China Contemporary Photography and Video" in Germany in 2004.

1962年出生於長春市,現居住和工作於北京。

1984年畢業於吉林藝術學院,留校任教;1988年入中央美術學院版畫系進修,攝影作品曾參展2001年瑞士巴塞爾藝術博覽會及第四十九屆威尼斯雙年展。

亦曾參加紐西蘭「中國當代攝影及錄像」、加拿大「物質分類」展和2004年德國「中國當代攝影及錄像」等多項國際攝影藝術展覽。
