Qi Zhilong
祁志龍
Qi Zhilong was born in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia in 1962, he graduated from the Printmaking Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1987 and currently lives and works in Beijing.
His works often use the female imagery of the Cultural Revolution to express his creative concepts.
In 1992, an exhibition of "Pop Art of Consumer Image Qi Zhilong" was held in Hong Kong.
His works have been exhibited in Sydney, Australia, Lusen, Switzerland, Essen, Germany, Thessaloniki, Greece, and Dusseldorf, Germany. He has held solo exhibitions in Hong Kong, Sydney, Jakarta and New York.
1962年生於內蒙古呼和浩特,1987年畢業於中央美術學院版畫系,現居住和工作於北京。
作品中經常運用文革時代的女性形象表達創作觀念。
1992年在香港舉辦了《消費形象━━祁志龍的波普藝術》展覽。
作品先後在澳大利亞雪梨、瑞士陸森、德國埃森、希臘塞薩洛尼基、德國杜塞道夫等地展出。曾在香港、雪梨、雅加達、紐約等地舉辦個展。
