王嘉驥
Chia Chi Jason Wang was born in Keelung City, Taiwan. In 1961, he graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature at Fu Jen University and Chinese Culture University. He is currently a curator and art critic in Taipei.
In 1991, he obtained a Master's degree from the Institute of Asian Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2005, he was appointed curator of the Taiwan Pavilion at the 51st Venice Biennale, and curator of the 2002 Taipei Biennale. He served as a consultant from 1991 to 2012 and taught in a number of university art departments in Taiwan.
He has been engaged in art criticism since 1992 and served as an academic advisor to Hong Kong's Asia Art Archive from 2004 to 2009.
1961年出生於台灣基隆市,畢業於輔仁大學英國語文學系、中國文化大學藝術研究所。是現居台北的策展人和藝評家。
1991年獲得美國柏克萊加州大學亞洲研究所碩士,2005年曾任第五十一屆威尼斯雙年展台灣館策展人、2002年台北雙年展策展人;1991年至2012年曾任教台灣多所大學藝術系。
自1992年起從事藝術評論,2004年至2009年擔任香港「亞洲藝術文獻庫」的學術顧問。
