Xing Danwen 邢丹文
Born in Xi'an in 1967, Xing Danwen studied in the affiliated high school of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 1982. She graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing in 1992.
In 1995, Xing joined the “German Photographic Association" and held exhibitions in Beijing, Hong Kong, Germany, the United States, and Japan.
In 2000, she received a Master's degree in photography and multimedia from the School of Visual Arts in New York.
Her main photographic works include the "Urban Fiction" series, "Reproduction", "Personal Diary". Her works are collected by numerous international art institutions such as the Whitney Museum of Art, the Chicago Art Museum, and the Centre Pompidou in France.
1967年生於西安,1982年在西安美術學院附中學習,1992年畢業於北京中央美術學院民間美術專業。
1995年加入「德國攝影社」,先後在北京、香港、德國、美國、日本舉辦攝影展。
2000年在紐約視覺藝術學院獲得攝影與多媒體專業的碩士學位。
主要攝影作品包括「都市演繹」系列、《複製》、《個人日記》等。作品被惠特尼美術館、芝加哥美術館、法國龐畢度中心等多家國際藝術機構收藏。
