Ye Yongqing
葉永青
Born in Kunming in 1958, Ye Yongqing graduated from the Painting Department of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 1982.
In 1990, he participated in the International Exhibition of French Modern Art and is currently a professor at the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts.
He has held solo exhibitions in Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, London, Germany, Munich, and Seattle, including the 2007 exhibition “Paint a Bird: Ye Yong Qing Solo Exhibition” in Beijing.
He was listed by Asia Art News as one of the 20 most dynamic Chinese avant-garde artists in the past 20 years
1958年生於昆明,1982年畢業於四川美術學院繪畫系油畫專業。
1990年參展法國現代藝術國際博覽會,現任四川美術學院教授。
曾在北京、上海、新加坡、英國倫敦、德國慕尼黑、美國西雅圖等多個地方舉辦個展,其中包括2007年在北京的展覽《畫個鳥!》。
被《亞洲藝術新聞》列為二十年來二十位最具活力的中國前衛藝術家之一。
