張培力
Zhang Peili was born in Hangzhou in 1957, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in 1984. He was active in the 85’ New Wave Movement. In 1988, he created the first contemporary Chinese video work "30×30".
He currently lives and works in Hangzhou and teaches at the School of Intermedia Arts at the China Academy of Art.
He has exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and has been invited to participate in international exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale.
A number of his video, photography and installation works have been collected by international art institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Centre Pompidou.
1957年生於杭州的醫生家庭,1984年畢業於浙江美術學院油畫系,活躍於「八五」新潮美術運動,1988年創作了中國最早的當代影像作品《30×30》。
現生活和工作於杭州,任教於中國美術學院跨媒體藝術學院。
曾在紐約現代藝術博物館開個展,多次受邀參加威尼斯雙年展等國際展覽。
多件影像、攝影及裝置藝術作品,被紐約現代美術館、龐畢度中心等國際藝術機構收藏。
