Zheng Guogu
鄭國谷
Zheng Guogu was born in Yangjiang, Guangdong Province in 1970, he graduated from the Printmaking Department of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1992.
In 2002, he founded the "Yang Jiang Group" with Chen Zai Yan and Sun Qing Lin. He now lives and works in Yang Jiang.
His works encompasses a variety of media, spanning performance art, photography, painting, sculpture, embroidery and environmental art.
He also participated in numerous international exhibitions, such as the 10th Documenta in Kassel and the 10th Lyon Biennale, and won the China Contemporary Art Award (CCAA) twice in 2000 and 2006.
1970年出生於廣東陽江,1992年畢業於廣州美術學院版畫系。
2002年與陳在炎、孫慶麟創辦「陽江組」,現在陽江生活和工作。
作品含括各種媒介,橫跨行為、攝影、繪畫、雕塑、刺繡和環境藝術。
參加了眾多國際展覽,例如第十屆卡塞爾文獻展和第十屆里昂雙年展,並於2000年和2006年兩度獲得中國當代藝術獎(CCAA)。
