Zhong Biao
鍾飆
Zhong Biao was born in Chongqing, China in 1968, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in 1991. In the same year, he taught at the Oil Painting Department of the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. He currently lives and works in Beijing and Chongqing.
His works are mainly oil paintings while his later works incorporates new media and video.
In 2003, he participated in the first Beijing International Art Biennale. In 2004, he won the 10th National Art Exhibition Excellence Award from the National Art Museum of China.
He has also had solo exhibitions in Paris, Tokyo, Brussels, London, San Francisco, Singapore, etc.
1968年生於中國重慶,1991年畢業於浙江美術學院油畫系,同年起任教於四川美術學院油畫系,現生活和工作於北京和重慶。
創作的作品以油畫為主,後期創作加入了影像等新媒介。
2003年參加首屆北京國際美術雙年展,2004年獲得中國美術館頒發的第十屆全國美展優秀獎。
在巴黎、東京、布魯塞爾、倫敦、舊金山、新加坡等世界各地舉辦過個展。
